Halos N Horns **REVIEW**

Hello everyone,

I was recently very lucky to recieve some products from Halos N Horns to try out with James (we were also sent items from there baby range but these will be in a separate review once baby no2 arrives to review them!).

Halos N Horns make fun and affordable bubble baths, shower gels, shampoos and toothpaste for babies and children that are made from natural ingredients and dont contain any nasty chemicals.

James tried out the kids bathtime range this included...
- Zingy orange hair and body wash (rrp £3.05)
- Mango melon mayhem shampoo and conditioner (rrp £2.75)
- Berry burst shampoo and detangler (rrp £2.75)
- Toothy fruity toothpaste. (rrp £2.34)

Halos N horns provide delicate fruity bath products for even the most sensitive skin! And this is what really drew me to these as James has really sensitive skin and I loved the fact that halo N horns say NO to lots of the chemicals that are usually found in bath products and these are not found in Halos N Horns products resulting in a product that is delicate to all skin types!!

The first thing you really notice abiut the bath products is the smell!! They all smell so
lovely and fruity and really fiilled the bathroom with delicious fruity smells when they were used. They also apply really well and lather up well so washing is quick and easy. I really liked the mango melon mayhem shampoo and condition because it was shampoo and conditiomer combined it meant only one lot of hair washing! Also as an added bonus it can be used as an all over body wash!

James favourite was the toothpaste! Cleaning his teeth is not one of james favourite past times however since trying out the fruity toothpaste hes actually been asking to clean his teeth! James loved the fruity flavour and much preferred it to the mint flavour normally found with toothpaste.

Overall we loved the Halos N Horns products and will deffinutly continue to use them in the future. James has had no problems with any of the products despite his very sensitive skin and so Halos N Horns get a big thumbs up from us!!!

You can find out more about the products and the Halos N Horns brand here.... Halos N Horns website!

Growing up to quickly!!

Hello everyone,

So yesterday was the final day for school application submissions and this time it was my time to get all nervous and stressed.
You always here other mums talking about school applications and places but in my head it was never going to be my babies time to head to BIG school! But the time has come this year and I have stressed so much about school places it's unreal.

I spent last night crying my eyes out, for some reason despite the fact I submitted the school application week's ago having the deadline day come seemed so final that it was actually happening.... My little boy going to SCHOOL!!
I have all the usually parent worries I think.. What if he doesn't make friends or gets bullied, what if he hates school and I've chosen the wrong school for him!?!

I really don't think the pregnancy hormones have helped make this easy lol or the fact that last night my usually energetic bouncing off the walls, hyper little boy decided to turn into a cuddle monster making me even more upset that I'm going to be sending him off into the big old world of primary school!

How did other mums feel sending there little ones of to school?!?

James settled so well into nursery, we've never had tears or tantrums about going and he has so many friends there he gets upset when he can't go lol! So I'm hoping his outgoing personality will help settle him into primary school just as well as he settled into nursery!

When did my tiny baby turn into such a grown up handsome, confident young boy!?
I'm pretty sure I blinked and missed it lol!

Berry White organic drinks *REVIEW*

Hello everyone,

I was recently sent some new and exciting drinks to try called Berry White organic drinks. These drinks are a little diffrent to many juice related drinks you may find on the market as they really look at the health benefits of the ingedients used in the drinks.

Berry White was launched in the UK in March 2012 by CEO Andrew Jennings. After looking into the drinks market he decided to create his own brand to fill a niche for healthy drinks that look good, taste good and are good for you and so Berry White was born!

I was sent all 4 flavours to try and these were
pomegranate & blueberry with white tea,
lemon, ginger & acai berry with white tea and yerba mate,
goji berries with peaches, white tea & echinacea,
cranberry, guava and elderberry with white tea and guarana.

Yes some of the flavours sound a little daunting and unusual and I was a little worried about the taste as I was unsure of some of the flavours. However i neednt have worried! The drinks offer a subtle yet refreshing taste and the flavours in each drink really work together!

As im currently pregnant and not drinking alcohol these were a great alternative over christmas and really felt like more if an adult drink compared to fizzy pop and with the added health benefits its a great alternative in my eyes.

These drinks are available throughout the UK in stores such as Planet organic, Ocado.com and Harrods. The drinks are also now sold in over 15 countries!

You can find out all about Berry White, the ingingredients, the story behind them and find your local stockists here ... Berry White Website

Overall I thought the drinks were great. The packaging is eye catching and deffinutly something I would be drawn to on a shelf. I also like the idea that these are a great alternative as an adult drink and the added health benefits of some of the ingedients are always going to be a bonus! All this and most importantly the drinks taste delicious! So if your looking for a delicious healthy drink I would really recommend giving these a try.

First trip to the cinema!!

Hello everyone,

I hope you have all had a lovely christmas and new year?

Things have started to settle down here and get back into a routine. Hubby is back at work, James is back at nursery and im back to boring housework although with bump in tow and growing bigger by the day its getting more and more tiring lol!

On new years day we took James for his first ever cinema visit!!! He hadnt been before and we were a little nervous taking him as we wernt sure if he would sit still and watch the film or not. However we neednt have worried he loved it!!! He went with his big cousins and we took some of chocolate he got at christmas to eat during the film ( the food and drink prices in the cinema are VERY expensive).

We watched Disneys Frozen, The film is loosely based on Hans Christian Anderson's The snow queen and tells an enchanting and magical story of sisterhood against tough challenges. The songs are catchy and the story easy to follow.

The film was really good and James has been singing the songs from the film ever since lol. The cinema was quite pricey (around £25 for 2 adults and a child) so not something we could afford to do all the time, but we will deffinutly be going again as an occasional treat as James enjoyed it so much.

Heres some pics of James enjoying the cinema....

What have you all ben up to over christmas and new year and how are you finding it getting back into "the routine" lol??
